Before using StarGlobe, it is a good idea to calibrate the compass. You can do so by moving the phone in a slow circular motion while angling away from the center of the circle, as shown below.
Also keep in mind that the compass may not give an accurate reading if you are standing close to power lines or something made of steel, like a car, a railing, a metal fence, a building with a steel frame, or a structure made of reinforced concrete, which contains steel rebar.
The graph shows the ecliptic longitudes of the planets relative to the sun. The horizontal axis corresponds to zero separation, when the planet is in conjunction with the sun. The top and bottom edges of the graph correspond to a separation of 180 degrees, when the planet is in opposition to the sun. Points where two lines intersect show when two planets will be in conjunction with each other. You can swipe left to move the graph farther into the future.
When ISS tracking is turned on, a red line appears on the globe which shows the current trajectory of the International Space Station as it would appear to an observer at the center of the earth. A small red circle indicates the position of the space station on that trajectory. Since the space station is in a low orbit, it only appears above the horizon when the red circle is within 20 degrees of the zenith, in which case a red target symbol on the globe indicates the approximate position of the space station as seen from your location.
Also when ISS tracking is on, a grey line appears on the globe which represents the edge of the earth's shadow at the height of the space station's orbit. When the grey line is between the red circle and the sun, the space station is in the earth's shadow and is not visible. ISS position data provided by NASA covers a time span of 15 days and is updated periodically.
